Larry Genovesi
Executive Director, Chairman of the Board
Larry Genovesi is a serial entrepreneur and technology executive with more than 35 years of experience founding, leading, and growing high-tech companies. Having served as both CEO and CTO, Larry brings extensive operational and technical expertise to WorcLab, along with a firsthand understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face in building successful businesses.
His experience spans networking, data storage, high-performance computing, big data analytics, and smart building technology. He is also Co-Founder, COO, and CTO of Embue, a technology company focused on improving building efficiency through intelligent automation and energy management.
As Executive Director and Chairman of WorcLab, Larry provides strategic leadership, mentors emerging entrepreneurs, and works to strengthen Worcester's startup ecosystem by connecting businesses with the resources, expertise, and partnerships they need to succeed.
Tyler Ojala
Director of Operations
Tyler Ojala serves as Director of Operations at WorcLab, where he oversees daily operations, develops strategic partnerships, and supports Worcester's growing entrepreneurial community.
A graduate of Worcester State University with a background in Business and Psychology, Tyler co-founded and served as President of the university's Entrepreneurship Club. He continues to work with Worcester State to expand entrepreneurial opportunities for students, strengthen mentorship networks, and build connections between higher education and the regional startup ecosystem.
Through his work with WorcLab, Startup Worcester, The Venture Forum, and other community partners, Tyler is committed to making entrepreneurship more accessible and strengthening Worcester's position as a hub for innovation and business development.
